Our Purpose

Panorama Middle School staff, students and community are dedicated to the development of excellence in academic achievement, the promotion of positive student behavior and the ongoing supportive relationship between the community and the school.

Throughout the school year, Panorama utilizes the school action plan as a means to focus efforts toward improving student achievement.  While there is still work to be done on raising student achievement, Panorama's students have made great gains in academic growth according to the Longitudinal Student Growth Model measurement used by the Colorado Department of Education.

Panorama incorporated the middle school philosophy into its educational format. Students are placed on academic teams where four or five teachers provide the math, science, social studies, language arts and reading instruction. This allows teachers to build relationships with their students and provide individual attention. Panorama also hosts a middle school Gifted and Talented magnet program.

Our Educators

The Panorama staff is a committed group of educators who continually study the best instructional practices and go above and beyond to meet students' needs. Classroom teachers and administrators meet on a monthly basis to align curriculum, review student achievement data, make improvements and give feedback on the progress of various educational programs. Panorama values high quality teachers, and offers many opportunities for professional development to all staff members.

Dedicated staff members sponsor many clubs and programs that provide opportunities for students to expand their growth and interests.
